Reading the whole Bible in a year — do this when you have extra time. (Paul says whatever we do, we should do all to the glory of God.)The Heart of It
All week we've been gathering reasons to believe God is real. We've seen the beginning of the universe, the builder behind every house, and the everlasting God who never began. But facts about God were always meant to lead somewhere. They lead to worship. Listen to how turns truth into praise. The people say, "You alone are the LORD; You have made heaven, the heaven of heavens, with all their host, the earth and everything on it... and You preserve them all. The host of heaven worships You." Notice that the people don't just agree that God made everything. They fall down and adore Him for it. That's the difference between knowing about a Maker and actually loving Him.
And catch that one tender word. They say, "You preserve them all." God didn't just start the universe like winding up a toy and then walk away. He holds it together this very second. Every heartbeat, every sunrise, every breath in your lungs is on loan from Him right now. The same God who said "Let there be light" is keeping your world going as your family reads these words. So today we don't just finish a lesson. We lift our hearts. The right response to the God who began it all, and still holds it all, is to join the host of heaven and worship Him. We worship Him with our songs, our thanks, and our whole lives.
Around the Table
God made everything — and He's still holding it all together right now! Let's say thank You to the Maker.
Let's do it: Go around and each shout one thing God made. After every one, everybody cheers, "Thank You, God!"
God made everything, and He keeps it going. Knowing God is real should make us want to worship Him.
Let's talk: What's the difference between just believing God exists and actually worshiping Him?
Even the "host of heaven" — the angels — worship the Creator. Truth about God is meant to lead us to adore and surrender to Him.
Let's go deeper: Even the demons believe that God exists. So why isn't agreeing enough? What does worship add?

If your family wrote a short "thank You" song to the God who made everything, what would the very first line be? Try it together!
🛡️ Defending the Faith
Believing God exists is the doorway, not the destination. Even our memory verse points beyond information to relationship. The God who created the heavens and the earth () is a God to be known, loved, and worshiped. When we share our faith, we're not just defending a fact. We're inviting people to meet the One worth adoring. And we always do it "with gentleness and respect" ().
For Dad · Go Deeper
Family worship is the place where this week's apologetics turns into doxology. It's good for your kids to know that God exists. It's transforming for them to worship Him together with you leading. Keep tonight simple and unhurried. Read . Name God's works aloud. Sing one song you all know, and pray. Don't aim for polish. Aim for presence. Your children's deepest convictions about God will be shaped less by the arguments you win and more by whether they routinely saw their father bow his head and mean it. As Tony Evans puts it, a man's leadership is measured at the altar of his home, not the podium. The God who began the universe and preserves it still is worthy of a few faithful minutes around your table tonight.

Let's Pray Together
"LORD, You alone made the heavens and the earth. And You hold it all together right now. We don't just believe You are real. We love You and worship You. Be the King of our family. In Jesus' name, amen."
The God who made and holds everything isn't just to be believed. He's to be worshiped.
