Most stories about Jesus begin with a stable in Bethlehem. John starts much earlier. He starts before the stable. He starts before Bethlehem. He starts before there was a single star to shine over it.

God Breathed Out His Word
Paul says all Scripture is "given by inspiration of God." The old Greek word means something amazing. It means "God-breathed." So picture that. The Bible is not a stack of clever human ideas.
